Naming streets after politicans.
Enough is enough isn’t it?
Samir might disagree with me, but Robert Bourassa has no right to having his name on a street in Montreal. Neither does Rene Lesvesque for that matter, nor does Daniel Johnson, nor does Pierre Marc Johnson, nor does Bernard Landry, nor does Jacques Parizeau. All these people oversaw the decline of Montreal, and to assign a major street name to any of them is an embarassment.
Personally, if politicians like the idea of having their name emblazoned on streets, we are going to have name changes constantly. Why not create a law wherein only one street can be named after a contemporary politician at the same time. If they want to honour every dead politicians they’ll have to keep changing the same damn name.
Yeah I know, I know. It’s an outrage, nonetheless.
Winnipeg in one picture.

Winnipeg feels like Canada’s poorest city. You walk in and you can just feel that the entire city is surviving only off of federal charity. (More than 50% of the locals are employed by the government).
I wouldn’t want to live there for all the money in the world.

Gotta love “Engrish”.
Jade Redd
Saw this in an advertisement link above and thought I’d share it: Jade Redd. She isn’t as good as the old Evanescence (sans the barely-suppressed religious meaning you can’t be). She has a very nice melodic voice though.
