When I was a kid, I owned Metroplex – a giant city-transforming Autobot. I could never convince my parents to buy me his equally-sized Decepticon rival.
However, after walking into a small shop in Akitsu, I ran into.. well..
The main points of interest are the fact that he has almost all his small accessories; I think one radar dish may be missing, but I am not 100% sure about that. He looks awesome; I am considering buying reproduction stickers for him so I can use him as a display piece. FYI, his electronics STILL work – I regret not bringing my light box with me, I could take much better pictures than this.
Incidentally, he cost about $16 – which is about 1/5th his price in 1986.
